Our playground is the heart of the Village and with the new equipment installed in 2012 it has never looked better. In 2014 the Town of Bourne partnered with the students at Upper Cape Technical school to install "Little Free Public Libraries" in all of Bourne's villages. Please enjoy the books that are placed in our library at the entrance to Washington Park playground and feel free to donate! The CCA will also continue to look for ways to enhance and maintain this special gathering place for our local families. grant scholarships to deserving local students
Any Cataumet resident who is graduating from high school this year may apply for one of our two $1,000 scholarships, regardless of the school he or she attends. provide social relief to the needy
For the fourth year, the CCA will sponsor a non-food food drive to benefit the Bourne Friends Food Pantry. We ask for donations of items that do not qualify for food stamps: paper goods, health, beauty and cleaning supplies. These items are in great demand at the Food Pantry but not typically donated. In the past we have been able to deliver multiple carloads to the food pantry and we received cash donations as well. In 2017 we will "kick off" our food drive and non-food drive at the CCA Annual Meeting and Puppet Show on Sunday July 16. 2017.
